Kharms is considered as one of the pioneers of Dadaism and Absurdism. His works seem as if they say nothing and can be called "anti-stories". Brief, semantically vague, seemingly superficial and insubstantial, they construct a meta-narrative that is not simply about ethical nihilism, but rather about the conviction that human values can survive the privations and blows of the most hostile environment and inhuman time .

Looking for a way to express his disagreement with the values of the time in which he is forced to live, Kharms morphologically destroys the linguistic unit and the human being.
